Students in the Elementary grades are taught the following subjects daily: religion, language arts (including reading, writing, grammar, and spelling), mathematics, science, and social studies daily. In addition, computers, the library, art, music, and PE are offered weekly. Students also attend Mass weekly.
Third-grade students are encouraged to move from teacher-directed activities to working more independently. Students use the foundational skills they learned in the primary grades to help them succeed socially and academically.
Fourth and fifth-grade students are transitioning from "learning to read" to reading to learn." Students are becoming independent and self-directed learners. Students are also introduced to changing classes, and subjects with different teachers.
