Art
Students study world cultures, art history, a variety of art forms, and techniques. They explore mediums of clay, paint, sculpture and drawing through a variety of lessons in artistic expression and creative activities. Student artwork is proudly displayed throughout the campus and at times is entered into area competitions. Art is offered as part of the regular elementary curriculum and as an elective for grades 6 – 8.
Computer Technology
Resurrection Catholic School recognizes that learning goes well beyond the borders of a classroom. We offer campus-wide Internet access, an iMac computer lab, mobile iPad and Chrome Book cart for use within the classroom and MimioTeach™ interactive whiteboards in every classroom.
Library
Often seen as the focal point of the campus, the library is available to all students as scheduled class time or on an as needed basis. The library manager is available to assist students with research, circulation, and development of library skills. The school’s collection of over 3000 books, CDs, videos, filmstrips and more, are cataloged online for easy reference. An annual Book Fair helps to provide funds for additions to this fine collection of quality children’s literature and historical classics.
